PhilmEd is a uniquely Philly nonprofit organization. We run an after-school program dedicated to getting our public school children excited about filmmaking and creative learning. Through our “You Matter.” philosophy, we try to ingrain in our students that their experiences are significant, and that they have stories worth telling. I owe so many thanks to my wonderful little sister Zahraa for being an awesome model!
